Our Mission at Pleasant Grove is “To Know Jesus Christ and to make Him known”. One of the great ways to know Jesus is to become engaged in a small group ministry, a mission project, or to become a volunteer.

Sisters in Faith Women's Ministry: Women gather the 1st Monday of every month at 7pm at each other’s homes, please see bulletin or email the church for the next upcoming location. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Total Health: Every Tuesday from 6:30-8pm the total health group meets to discuss how to stay healthy in mind, body, and spirit, everyone is invited to attend. This group also uses the gym to walk from 5:30-6:30

Primary: 1st -3rd grade
Intermediate: 4th-5th grade
Upper: 6th-7th grade
Jr High/Sr High: 8th-12th grade
Mid-week Children and Youth Programing:
Kids For Jesus (KFJ) Children's Ministry: Kids For Jesus is a mid-week program designed specifically for children to learn about Jesus. We meet every Wednesday from 6-8pm (except 2nd Wednesdays) it is for Preschool-5th grade. A hot meal is served each week.
We have 2 Youth Group Ministries
Senior High Youth Group for those in 9th-12th grade
Jr. High Youth Group for those in 6th-8th grade
Youth group meets on Wednesday Nights from 6-8pm (except 2nd Wednesdays)

Our choir sings every Sunday at the 11am service (with a break in the summer). They perform a Christmas Cantata every year. They practice on Wednesday night at 7pm in the Sanctuary.
Our Band leads worship every Sunday at the 8:30 service. They practice on Monday or Tuesday evenings. The Band is always looking for people to use their gifts of playing instruments or singing. We have a children’s choir that performs 8 or 9 times a year. They practice Sunday mornings from 9:30-10 in the sanctuary. If you want to know more about children’s choir please email the office at email@example.com
One of the main missions our church provides is our “Feed the Kids” program. We provide a pack of food for children in our school district who don’t have enough food to last through the weekend. PGUMC also supports: Faith Maternity, Turning Point Homeless Ministry, Welcome Home Veterans home, and other various community organizations.
